Joe Hardin Brown My Buddy November 12, 2013
I am just now finding this and I have to type. I have been an entertainer most of my life and am lucky enough to have had my share of friends. But when I met Hal in Vegas in Vegas words I hit the jackpot! This man never said no to me. Plus he introduced me to his wife Patty. How often does it turn out that two people you meet turn out to be the best friends you could ever have? That Hal knew what he found when he found Patty. Hal Buddy I miss your voice on the phone when I needed honest advice and someone who cared about my problems. Thanks for all those times you were there. And thanks for inviting me to your house to meet Patty. Sometimes now if things get tough I call her. She is truly my friend. You both will be in my heart till we all meet again. Love to You Both, Joe Hardin
Rhonda To my Dad November 8, 2007

I first met my my dad when I was six years old. I'm not sure I thought he was so great when I first met him. Soon after Mom and Dad were married I began to see in him what Mom had seen in him. I have never met anyone with a bigger heart than his.  Some where, there is  a song for all of us. We won't be sad, we will be glad for the life we had. We will never again be alone for I know my Dad will always be by my side as he was in life as he is in death. I love You Dad...

Mom thanks for all your Love and hard work... Love Rhonda

How sad it is to lose a member of our family. Memories will sustain you in this time of grief.

I have such good memories of Hal. I remember going to his gigs when we were going through on our way to Wyoming. What a performer! Such beautiful music. I remember Thanksgiving dinner and he did all the cooking. I could go on and on.

My dear Patty, you took such good care of Hal. There were so many times when we thought he wouldn't make it but he pulled through because of your care. Your love pulled him through so many times.

I am praying for you and your family.

Kim Tyree Thinking of You October 27, 2007

Mom,

I can't tell you enough how sorry I am and how sad I feel that I didn't talk much with you and Dad these last few years.  He was such a wonderful man and grandpa to my son.  I will miss him dearly.  What a big heart he had!!!  Just know that I am thinking of you often.

Lots of Love,

Kim

How do you describe the deep sense of loss of someone who was loved so much. This family was blessed so much to have him as a part of us. I grieve for those of us left behind but find great comfort in knowing that he was a true believer and  such a wonderful person that he is no doubt in heaven. Can't you just picture him with the other saints doing a gig?

Patty, I know how much we are hurting and can only imagine what it is like for you. I wish with all my heart that I could help ease your pain. My dear sister I will always be there for you. Not everyone could provide the care you have given Hal and one day there will be a place for you right beside him.

Del, how wonderful it was that you got to spend a quality week with your Dad in
August. I am sure you will cherish that memory forever. He was absolutely thrilled that you were there and said he enjoyed it so much. Also the good care you gave him made him feel so safe in Patty's absence. He was so proud of you.

Rhonda and Jacob, you held such a special place in his heart and he loved you so  much. You added a spark to his life when you would come to Las Vegas. He always knew he could count on you to watch over your Mom's well being.

The song "Thanks for the Memories" has a new meaning for me now as I will always cherish the ones I have of him. He may have left us but my memories of him will live forever. How I loved him!

God saw him getting tired, a cure not meant to be. He put his arms around him, and whispered "come with me."

I Love You Hal Guy!
Jacob Huston number 1 grandson October 26, 2007

Hal was my grandfather and he meant so much to me. If it wasn't for him I would not be able to do one of my favorite hobbies, swim. He had me in the pool at 4 months old and before I knew it I could swim at 2 years old. Also he got me into music and now I'll never quit playing my clarinet. The last song I played for him was love me tender by Elvis. But I'll never forget the morning that my grandma called and told me and Rhonda that he had died. Now I'm in vegas with my Grandma helping her around and stuff like that. Todays date is 10/26/07 . I miss my Grandpa he was the best ever.

Lance Friend of Hal & Patty October 26, 2007
Please accept my very sincere condolences at the passing of Hal Anderson.  I am a friend of Hal & Patty, I met them on a motorcycle ride in 2000, we have been friends since that day.  Hal was a very positive and talented person and he loved motorcycles. During the few short years that I lived in Las Vegas we made many memories together with motorcycle rides and friendship.  Hal was a class act and a man of integrity.  Hal, you will be missed tremendously but we will see you again in Heaven.  Thank you for being a great friend.  Lance
Darrell Gritten Brother in law October 25, 2007
Please accept my very sincere condolences at the passing of Hal Anderson.  I am Hal's brother in law.  I have known Hal since he married Patty.  I can not remember Hal saying an unkind word about anyone.  Hal always seemed to me to have a positive attitute about life in general.  I will always remember how much he loved his family, his wit and his robust laughter.  I am comforted that Hal was a baptized believer and placed his trust in Jesus as his personal Savior.  The last time I visited with Hal, he told me that he was assured of his salvation.  I will miss Hal very much.
Del Devotion October 25, 2007

Mom,

Your devotion to dad all of these years is nothing short of miraculous. You gave all that you had, day-after-day, carrying the burden of maintaining his health much much longer than anyone could imagine. Your untiring good care allowed many of us to spend that "extra" time together with him.

Our prayers have been with dad, but also you, to give you the strength, courage, wisdom, and peace to maintain your daily attentiveness. Now, our prayers will continue just for you. To help you through this difficult time, to accept that dad is now at peace, and to have faith that we will see him again in heaven through Jesus's intercession for us.

Keep your faith. As strong as you are, pray and ask for God's help. "And all things you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive." Matt 21:22

With Love,

Del
